Following my decision to include different things other than my recipes in the blog, I think a good idea is to showcast my favourite posts from the blogs I follow here on WordPress. It could become a periodic post, once or twice a month, maybe?
One question before we discover my choices for this time… I know some of you do favourites posts as well, and sometimes I see you add pictures as well. How does that work? You should ask every blogger for permission, right? I’m asking because I’d like to do this kind of post more eye catching with some images instead of plain text…
Teriyaki Glazed Roasted Brussels Sprouts (from Cooking with a Wallflower): you know I love Brussels sprouts, but the increasing their flavour depth with Teriyaki sauce takes things to the next level! Good idea Andrea!
Zucchini, Tomato and Cheese Tart with a Polenta crust (from Recipe Adaptors): a polenta crust is an awesome idea, both if you have celiac or gluten-intolerant guests and if you are looking for another way to serve this golden dish! Looking forward to experiment with different fillings (stay tuned!).
Pizzoccheri, an Italian Classic (from Food Eat Love): a warming and earthy dish from home for these cold and dark days… Absolutely on the list of the recipes I have to cook for Tom, he’ll love it! (Thank you Petra for the reminder!)
Vegetables Ramen Noodles Soup (from Cookin’ Five Square Meters): who doesn’t love a warm bowl of ramen, full flavourful ingredients? Well I do, and Hisham offered me a delicious alternative (maybe a little more laborious, but I’m sure it’s worth the effort) to my Homemade Ramen!
Herb-marinated salmon (from Milkandbun): Mila hits hard in my weak spot with this drooling version of my favourite fish, I’m sure next time I’ll have a steak or a fillet in my hands, that will be the way I’m going to serve it!

I think asking for permission before using the bloggers images would be a very respectful move and would make the blogger aware of where his/her photos are posted, added to the fact that you are linking back to the original post like you already did.

Thank you for the feature. Asking permission is always the way forward, I would never mind if asked and sourced. I find other food blogs so inspirational, there are so many talented cooks it is amazing. Great feature 🙂
