Having breakfast became quite challenging lately. During the cold season, even 5 minutes more in bed make the difference.
With other high priority tasks on the list – showering, for example, it’s inevitable that breakfast is reduced to a quick coffee and maybe a biscuit or a slice of bread with jam.
This morning though, I took a little more time to sit down and have something more substantial to eat. It’s nothing innovative, but I’d like to share it with you anyway.
INGREDIENTS (serves 1)
- 1 sachet (35g) microwaveable oats
- 180ml milk
- handful of blueberries
- 2 tablespoon mixed seeds
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
Add an extra splash of milk if too thick, stir in the blueberries, sprinkle the seeds and drizzle with the maple syrup.
